Villa Aglaia, rental villa near Gennadi, Rhodes.
Gennadi Village:
 Villa Aglaia is located on the outskirts of the traditional village of Gennadi which is an all-year-round centre. Situated on a hillside, overlooking the sea, the villa is within a few minutes walk of the wide range of village  facilities which include a well-stocked supermarket that seems to sell almost everything! It also has an extensive butchery section. Next door there is a baker's, a greengrocers, a pharmacy, car and motorcycle hire, a public telephone, a Post Office and a wide choice of tavernas and internet cafes.Gennadi also has a Medical Centre with a small hospital and a Police Station.
  Whatever time of year you visit you will be able to shop in the village, enjoy the tavernas and bars, hire a car or motorbike as Gennadi village is open all year round. The island bus service uses modern coaches and is reasonably priced and very reliable. The bus stop is conveniently situated in the centre of the village. The approach road to the villa is to be surfaced in the near future and there is street lighting partway along it from the village.
Behind the Villa there is instant access to walking areas up towards the mountains. You might even be lucky enough to glimpse the elusive Rhodian deer.
